Book Review / Animal Farm

George Orwell's 'little squib'.

I can't remember how long ago I read this for the first time, and the film version gets flung about a bit every 5 Xmases or so, but it's essential reading.

How one man could portray so much wrongness in one book so simply, and still have it be coherent on every level is why losing Orwell in '50 was a genuine tragedy for literature and the progression of free thought and ideas.

Also, makes pigs way more creepy.
